Vanguard Plastics Upgrades to ISO 9001:2000

In today's race to finish first with customers, Vanguard Plastics Ltd. has a steady head start. Once again, Vanguard is proving they are committed to providing their customers with the best quality product. By investing, implementing and forming the necessary foundation, Vanguard has adopted the quality management system of ISO 9001:2000.

" Vanguard Plastics sought to upgrade their quality management system registration from ISO 9002:1994 to ISO 9001:2000. The goal of Vanguard's efforts to upgrade was to ensure the critical areas described above were managed effectively within their organization," says Lynda Bennett of the Quality Certification Bureau Inc.

" As the Lead Auditor for the registration at Vanguard Plastics, I was satisfied that the requirements of the standard were effectively implemented and was pleased to recommend for upgrade of their registration to ISO 9001:2000."

ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization and promotes the development of standards, testing and certification to encourage the trade of quality products and services. There isn't a specific product ISO caters to. Instead, these standards are developed for manufacturing and service industries ranging from toys to nautical engineering. ISO 9001:2000 provides the framework for quality products and service customers can continue to rely on.
