 Does Vanguard only make parts in plastic? Vanguard is proud to offer parts in the material that best suits your application. We offer parts in molded plastic, die cast metal, stamped metal, and thermoplastic elastomer. What finishes are available for metals? Die cast parts are typically treated with a process known as powder-coating. This method imparts a hard, ceramic-like colored coating to the part, which is more scratch and ding-resistant than regular paint. Sheet metal parts are typically plated with yellow-chromate for corrosion resistance. Stainless steel is also available. My patio door handle broke. Can you send me a new one?
