Go Green, With NextLife

Consumers are expressing their desire for green products in every aisle at the super market. Now they can carry those green products in basket made from recycled plastic bags – the NextLife basket from Vanguard.

NextLife baskets are made from 25% recycled plastic bags – the same plastic bags that shoppers use to carry home their groceries. Instead of clogging landfills, these bags can now find new life as high quality shopping baskets.

Vanguard has teamed with Mountain Valley Recyclers (MVR) to produce the baskets. MVR collects plastic waste from around the US and ships it to their central collection facility in Morristown, Tennessee. That waste is then separated and recycled into high quality resins. Those resins are shipped to Vanguard, where they are used to create new NextLife shopping baskets.

Not only will do these baskets show your company’s dedication to the environment, but by promoting the recycling of shopping bags, stores can actually increase their recycling revenue.
